History of Neeskens
Neeskens’ history began more than 50 years ago with a passion for sound.
From a family business in Beverwijk, we grew into an international car audio wholesaler and distributor of premium brands.
Today, we supply dealers and retailers throughout Europe.
1974
In 1974, Piet and Els founded Neeskens BV in Haarlem, later known as Neeskens.
With rapid growth, additional storage space soon became necessary.
First the barn at the house was put to use, and later that year even the neighbor’s storage space.
1976
Haarlem soon became too small for our business. So we moved to Amsterdam,
where we sold our products – as was customary in those days – from the trunk of the car.
1978
In 1978 we moved to a new location in Haarlem: a large house with a small building behind it.
But soon we outgrew our space again and rented additional space across the street.
1989
In 1989, we reached the point where we were shipping car audio across the country.
We moved again and were ready to conquer the Benelux.
1994
In 1994, we moved to Beverwijk, an important step in our growth.
From this new location, we were able to improve our logistics and expand our distribution.
Whereas we had previously delivered mainly in the Benelux, from then on we also reached customers in Germany, which was the first step toward further international expansion.
2004
Eddy, the eldest son, together with family friend Milko, took over the company. From then on, Piet and Els remained active in the company to transfer their knowledge and experience.
2015
In 2015, demand for our products grew tremendously, especially from the United Kingdom, France and other European countries.
To meet this increasing demand, we expanded with an additional warehouse.
This expansion gave us the space to work more efficiently and deliver even faster to customers across Europe.
2018
Young talent is the future, and we cherish that at Neeskens International.
In 2018, Tom, the youngest son, joined the board.
2018
2018 meant another big move. We moved within Beverwijk to Salland 9. We now have multiple storage locations throughout the Netherlands and deliver throughout Europe.
2022
2022 was the year of our biggest expansion. Our warehouse at Salland 9 was expanded to include Salland 5 and 7. Removing the interior walls created one large, efficient warehouse, where we process and ship thousands of products daily.
2024
In 2024, Neeskens proudly celebrated 50 years of growth, strong brands and loyal customers. Thanks to our amazing team, we look forward to the next 50 years with energy and confidence.

As a family business, we understand the importance of reliability and service.
Today, as a car audio wholesaler, we supply premium brands to dealers, installers and retailers throughout Europe, with the same dedication we had when we started.
