The Plus One technology offers a 35% larger membrane surface, which increases efficiency by 2 dB. This adds to the performance of the speaker. The result is a defined representation of low frequencies and a full musical character.
The woofer is paired with a PEI-balanced tweeter dome for a sound profile with clear high frequencies. Stage3 speakers deliver clear highs with a stable beam behaviour through the PEI-balanced tweeters.
Rigid, ventilated baskets cool the voice coils. This reduces distortion at high volume levels, longer speaker life and higher load capacity.
Stage3 JBL speakers are subjected to environmental testing to withstand the conditions inside a vehicle. JBL exposes the speakers to cold, heat, vibration and ultraviolet light, and tests them for full power for extended periods of time.
