Electra EV Green 9.0 is an extra-light damping material, specially developed for electric vehicles. It utilizes AeroSphereReinforced mastic, a technology that combines sound insulation with low weight. This material is designed to reduce vibration and noise without placing additional stress on the vehicle. Electra EV Green 9.0 has a mechanical loss factor of up to 0.8, depending on the thickness. Its density is 0.99 kg/m³, and its bond strength is greater than 10.5 N/cm. The material operates within a wide temperature range of -40 to +90 degrees Celsius, with a peak resistance of up to 150 degrees. The special 100-micrometer film retains its print, even with intensive use. The material has no bituminous odor and leaves no residue on hands during installation. Its wide frequency response of 40 to 20,000 Hz makes it effective against a wide range of noise levels. Electra EV Green 9.0 is suitable for use on roofs, doors, trunks, and hoods without additional insulation layers. Its sandwich structure with a heavy-duty sound-insulating membrane also makes it suitable for floors and wheel arches. Despite the additional insulation layer, the material remains lighter than water. For optimal installation, the surface must be clean and dry. Cleaning with neutral detergents and then degreasing is recommended. After removing the protective film, the material should be pressed firmly, avoiding air bubbles. Electra EV Green 9.0 is best stored at temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius, in a dry place, away from direct contact with oil or sunlight. Storage in stacks higher than 1.2 meters is not recommended.
