Electra EV Silver 2.5 is an ultra-light damping material, specially developed for electric vehicles. It utilizes AeroSphereReinforced mastic, an innovative technology that combines sound insulation with low weight. This material reduces vibration and noise without unnecessarily adding weight to the vehicle. Electra EV Silver 2.5 has a mechanical loss factor of over 0.35, depending on the thickness. Its density is 0.8 kg/m³ and its bond strength is greater than 9.5 N/cm. The material functions reliably at temperatures between -40 and +90 degrees Celsius, with a maximum peak resistance of up to 150 degrees. The 100-micrometer-thick semi-hardened film retains its print, even during intensive use. The material contains no bitumen, is odorless, and leaves no residue on hands during installation. Thanks to a wide frequency range of 40 to 20,000 Hz, it provides effective sound insulation. Electra EV Silver 2.5 is suitable for application on roofs, doors, trunks, and hoods without additional insulation. Its lightweight composition makes it ideal for use in electric vehicles, where weight savings are a key factor. For optimal installation, the surface must be clean and dry. Cleaning with neutral detergents and then degreasing is recommended. After removing the protective film, the material should be pressed firmly, avoiding air bubbles. Electra EV Silver 2.5 is best stored at temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius, in a dry place, away from direct contact with oil or sunlight. Storage in stacks higher than 1.2 meters is not recommended.
