The JBL Club 422F coaxial car speakers bring JBL sound to various vehicles. Thanks to their compact design, they fit in most cars and deliver clear sound, even with standard audio systems due to their sensitivity. The robust polypropylene membranes with the Plus One design support powerful bass and long life. PEI-balanced tweeters display the high frequencies smoothly.
The edge-driven silk dome tweeters provide a wide and even range for treble that remains consistent at different output levels. The acoustically damped, UV-resistant polypropylene membrane of this JBL speaker is designed for clean, resonance-free sound quality and can withstand the heat and humidity in the car.
The patented Plus One polypropylene woofer cones provide up to 35% larger cone surface by moving the attachment point between the edge and frame outward. This leads to an increase in total efficiency by up to 2 dB. This contributes to the performance of the system.
Harman's Plus One membranes offer the speaker a larger total surface area of the membrane than other speakers in this class. The result is higher sensitivity, improved performance in the low frequencies and a greater musical character.
The Club 422F's tweeters feature an edge-driven silk dome that delivers a wider and more even range for treble. This design ensures a display that remains consistent at different output levels and sounds less sharp than common domes.
Club series speakers are subjected to testing to withstand the conditions inside the car. JBL exposes them to cold, heat, vibration and ultraviolet light, and tests them for a long time at full power for stable operation in the vehicle.
