With the JBL Stage series speakers, the usual JBL performance is significantly cheaper than ever. Polypropylene woofers provide a powerful base at low and medium frequencies, while Mylar-balanced-dome tweeters complement full-range sound with crisp, clear highs.

The 5.25-inch JBL subwoofer membrane of the Stage1 autobox is designed for the highest strength and sensitivity. The result is a better low frequency and a powerful musical character.
The woofer is paired with a Mylar-balanced tweeter that provides a car hi-fi sound signature with high-end frequencies. Stage1 autoboxes play clear high frequencies with good radiation behaviour thanks to the Mylar-balanced-dome tweeters.
Stage1 JBL car speaker speakers are subjected to environmental testing that other speakers would not be able to handle. JBL exposes them to extreme cold, heat, shock and ultraviolet light and works at full power for days to withstand the demanding climate in the car.
